Music City needs our prayers.

I don't know that I have ever mentioned it before but Mr. Pippy & I spent our honeymoon in Nashville, Tn at the historic Opryland hotel.
It was the first week of December & it was decorated with all the Christmas lights that Opryland is so famous for.
It was gorgeous.

But right now?
It's not looking very pretty.
Opryland had been hit hard by the flooding from the storms this weekend, along with much of Nashville.
The images would be startling to anyone who viewed them, but one of the pictures in particular, really got to me.
Our room overlooked the atrium in the "Cascades" area of the hotel.
This is the archway that we walked through.

This was the image I saw posted online this morning of this same archway.

Reports say that parts of the hotel are covered in as much as 10 feet of water.
It will take months before the resort & convention center are completely operable again.

So much of Nashville is suffering the same fate.
Thousands of people have been evacuated from their homes.
It's a sad time for Music City.
Please keep Nashville & it's residents in your prayers.

This is very sad... my husbands family lives in the south... they were lucky enough to miss the worst of it and we are blessed because of that. But my heart and prayers go out to anyone else who may have been affected by these horrible storms. Love to all!

So I take it you're a country fan? I was just there 2 weeks ago for work and I still can't get over that the very places we went to, including beautiful Opryland, are now under water. So terrible. Glad you posted this!
