In Georgia!

We came home for a week this time!!!! I will not be returning to Kentucky till Monday...wooohoo!
I forgot my 30 day shred so, I'll have to resume that next week, but my sister brought some of her workout videos so I'm going to try to workout everyday still. That coupled with the swimming I'll be doing I should be in good shape.
I am so excited to be here. I absolutely love coming here. My grandparents have a house on the lake here & I spent practically all summer every summer growing up here. We fished, & swam, tubed & skied, ran & played, & my grandmother is the most amazing cook.(thus the reason I have to work out while here.)
I was truly blessed to have grown up here with such a wonderful family.
Here's a little background: My grandparents spent years looking for a house on the lake, but never bought anything. Nothing was what they wanted. 7 days after I was born, they had purchased this place. lol. All of my grandparents friends tease them saying if I had never been born, they would still be looking.
I have an amazing relationship with both of them, but my grandaddy & I are super close. We always have been, from the day I was born. There was a time when I was an infant that he was the only one that I would pay any attention to. My mom thought I was deaf, or at least could only hear deep voices, because I ignored everyone but him. The Dr.'s told her that I had formed a "love bond" with him & basically I tuned everyone else out. I know mom had to be jealous, but it really ended up being a good thing. My dad left when I was 1, but growing up I still had a wonderful male example & the one man I truly loved. I have really always felt the closeness to him that I would imagine someone would feel towards their father.
So anyways, long story short, it's good to be home!

must...have...water

whew...911 will not be neccesary.....today.
Jillian Michaels is tough! I made it through alive, but I can honestly say there were times when I was wondering if dying wouldn't be preferable to the 30 day shred...
29 to go!

Finally!

I ordered some stuff on Amazon sunday night....it's finally here!
It's kind of annnoying though actually, becuase ALL of the items I ordered said they could be delivered by Tuesday!
Therefore, that's kind of what I was expecting. 3 trips to the post office later.....I finally have my Jillian Michaels 30 day shred!
I'm about to go try it out so wish me luck! If I don't come back.......call 911

My DH is Amazing!!

I went ahead & POAS Sunday morning. BFN of course. I really wasn't expecting it to be anything other than negative anyways, it was just a "what if" kind of thing, with it being Father's day & everything. I decided not to tell James, I didn't want him to be disapointed even though he knew it was a stretch to begin with. So we went to church & to his parent's house for lunch, then headed out to the lake. When we got out there on the boat, he said" So I'm assuming that you took the test & it was negative. I know you would have told me if it had been positive, & I also know that you woldn't have just "forgotten" to take it, lol" I said yes & that the only reason I hadn't said anything was because I didn't want to dissapoint him first thing this morning. He said to me " Baby, you haven't dissapointed me one time, the whole time we've been married. A little test isn't going to change that."
He is wonderful...I am truly blessed.

Lazy lake days

Dh & I spent all day out on the boat today & caught some really nice fish! It was so much fun to just lay in the sun & spend the day just the 2 of us! God has really blessed me with a great husband. I love our life together. He's my best friend! I hope all of you had a great weekend as well!
For some odd reason I have had this nagging feeling to POAS, I know that AF showed up & everything but I dunno. I have been slightly nauseous a few times, & kind of had a pressure like cramping on the left side of my lower abdomen. So I bought one to take tomorrow. I know some people have their period for the first few months so I thought It would be better to test & know for sure. Especially since I've had 2 migraines this week, I don't want to take anything that might cause any problems. So I'll update tomorrow & let you know the verdict!
Goodnight!

Weekend Recap: Fabulous Fondue!

Weekend Recap!
Friday night Tiny & MC came over for dinner. DH bought a new grill & was ready to try it out. Unfortunately while he was transporting the new grill home, the strap holding it in the bed of the truck broke & it flipped out, sliding down the road. It still works...lol but it's not the prettiest thing in the world anymore. He was pretty disappointed. Oh well! Life happens sometimes. We all watched Baby Mama after dinner, That is such a funny movie! We loved it!

Saturday, Atm & Mc came over for a girls night! We made 3 different fondue recipes! A-Ma-Zing! They were all so good. We made a creamy garlic & cheese fondue, A "zen" fondue for cooking the meats & then a wonderful "snickers" chocolate fondue for dessert! They were all soooo good & we had a blast chopping up all the ingredients and cooking together! Yay for girls nights! Mom gave me "The Melting Pot" cookbook for christmas & all the recipes came from there, if you have a fondue pot, BUY this book!!! You won't regret it!

Sunday was the first night of Vacation Bible School! It went great! We have a really great group of kids! I'm excited to swee how the rest of the week is going to turn out!

Pippy's Perspective:Today I just want us to pray that we will be able to touch all of these children & that they will learn about the awesome gift God gave us, in his son Jesus.

What EVERY married couple needs!

I wanted to tell you about these books my DH & I just finished! They are A-MA-Zing!!!! There are 2 of them, One is called "For Women Only" And the other is called "For Men Only", By Shaunti & Jeff Feldham. I swear, they are incredible! They polled hundreds of men & women on relationship issues for each book. Then compiled & explained the answers in a way that each gender can understand. Hy husband & I have not gotten in even a minor dissagreement after reading them, over a month ago! They have completely transformed our already great relationship & taken it to a whole new level! The are both pretty short, but packed full of great information. It was so funny, because it's stuff that we as women, just assume that they know about us, when they really have no idea we think that way, & vice versa! After reading just the first few chapters, DH came to me and read something the book had said & was like "Is this true? Do you really think this way?" I told him that it was definitely true, like whoever wrote the book could read my mind. He was shocked, he had no idea. I highly recommend looking into them, They have also made this whole TTC process so wonderful, because now he really knows what I need from him emotionally & I know what he needs from me!
Just wanted to share that with you guys!

She's back...

Okay, so not really wanting to complain here but, seriously, there have only 18 days out of the last 36 that I was not on my period or spotting!! 18!!!! *Vent Over* Continuing now...

Sunday is the beginning of Vacation Bible School! I have 1st & 2nd graders this year & I'm really excited about it! I think it's going to be so much fun! I went & worked on my classroom yesterday, It's turning out so cute! I just love doing crafty things & am so excited about all the stuff we have planned for the kids.

I am so ashamed of myself, I didn't post a Pippy's perspective Bible verse the other day, I was in a hurry & all of this "Af" nonsense had me kind of rattled I guess. I was thinking the other day it would be really cool if some of you guys would give me some of your favorite verses to use in my perspectives. I think It would be really neat to see some of your favorites! So if you have a good one, Let me know!

Daily Bible Verse!
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.”
Psalm 19:1-2

Pippy's Perspective: Isn't God's creation amazing??? How anyone can say a big explosion cause all of the beauty around us, is beyond me. Take some time to enjoy the sun, or the rain, the flowers & the trees. They're beautiful, & so often, we run through life so fast that we don't take even a minute to breathe & appreciate the beauty around you! Then report back & let me know what you found to appreciate today!

Err...okay...AF is that you?

So you know how I said I was spotting on sunday? Well that's still happening, but that's all it is, no red blood, just brown discharge, so I dunno what's going on. I guess it it possible that it is implantation bleeding, it started 6 days after the possible O date...so maybe? I'm really not sure, cause I have very minimal cramping, hardly noticeable, more like gas pains really. If it isn't though, I'm lost on when the first day of this cycle would be, since it is normally the first day of red blood, you can see my predicament...

Weekend Recap!

I love my Husband, seriously, he is amazing! He took me to dinner & a movie friday night. We saw Night at the Museum: Battle for the Smithsonian! It was sooooooo good! I absolutely loved it! Saturday we just hung out & Atm went fishing with us that afternoon. We caught some nice fish too! Sunday we had church, this Sundays sermon was on raising children. It was really good! I really really enjoyed it. We took some friends out on the boat on sunday between services & had a lot of fun. They have the 2 cutest little girls, I love them! Then Sunday night we had The Lord's Supper & afterwards we went out with Scout & Atm.
AF showed up again sunday morning. grr. At first I though that I should be concerned but, it's been a month since the first period. The one in the middle was probably just a fluke thing because of the hormones. So Cycle #2 here we go.

Thank You!

Ms. Bethanie made me her New Blog Find of the Week! I feel very honored! Thank you guys so much for reading to my rambling!
Thank you again Ms. Bethanie @ The desire of my heart

And the days fly by...

It is insanely crazy how fast this week has gone! We have been leaving to deliver a car to Alabama for 3 days now, but due to technical difficulties beyond our control, it hasn't happened yet. Hopefully tommorrow.

Anyways, I did get to go shopping in Nashville on Tues, for a few hours. It feels so good to be able to walk around a decent sized mall. The closest one to here is like 45mins away and it's tiny! So OpryMills was a welcome change!
My husband got some shorts & new shirts....they look good on him too ;) We kinda do the same thing we do for me, while shopping for him, but it's more of I pick stuff out for him to try on, without all the other stuff.

As far as TTC goes, based on what would be a normal cycle, I would have O'd on Tues. I know that without charting & all that jazz, there's no way to know for sure. So testing day is June 16th, unless AF arrives again by then. I would love to be able to give him a father's day BFP. He would be so excited! We are totally relying on God's perfect timing on this, & I'm not worried about it, It's just kind of exciting! Plus, writing it all down helps me keep track of everything, in case something should be wrong & I need good records to give to a Dr.

Oh, I woke up to find that Hurley had lived up to his name yet again, in the middle of the living room floor.
Seriously dog, why can't you do that on the linolieum where it's easier to clean? Oh well, you don't get a name like Hurley by having a strong stomach...

Bible Verse Of The Day!

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Philippians 4:4

Pippy's Perspective: It doesn't say when you feel like it, it says always! Ouch, I should practice my own perspective, sometimes I really feel like complaining, but part of beliving is trusting in his plan. So sometimes when it doesn't make sense or feels unfair, just have faith, he knows what he's doing.

Weekend Recap: Great Sermon & A Shopping Spree!!!!

The graduation was good....but long...very long!
I know the Class of '09 was so ready to be done....I know I was.
One question though...When did it become customary to have 12 speeches in one graduation??? There were 5 Valedictorians & 7 Salutatorians, is this normal? We had ONE class valedictorian, who gave one speech. Def. Not 12....but anyways.....

After graduation we went to the lake & stayed in the camper with Tiny & Mc. The boys got up & went fishing early, like 5 am. Mc & I definitely slept in. : ) They had to leave to go to a Soccer banquet and the crazy woman who own the campground won't allow people to be at the camper unless the "Original" renters are on the property...so dumb, they were coming back! So we packed up & went fishing the rest of the day. Ordered pizza & crashed on the couch. We watched the new Angelina Jolie movie "Wanted"...It was pretty strange & had more offensive language in it than I felt comfortable with. Oh well.

Sunday was awesome! Our pastor continued with his series on the family & today was the wives turn. He made a lot of good points about our responsibilities as wives & what our husbands desperately need from us....respect! He pointed out in Ephesians 5:22-33 where it says that Husbands are to love their wives as they would their own body, & that women were to respect their husbands. Yet sometimes, we like to think that their love should be unconditional towards us, but we don't have to respect them if they don't deserve it or have earned it. When in reality it's not conditional, just as their love for us shouldn't be. There was a ton more & if any of you would like to hear more about it, I can definitely send you my sermon notes! It really was great!

After Church, DH took me shopping! I love him!!!! Atm, Mc & Tiny all came with us too. Atm is one of my very best friends, her Dh, (we'll call him Scout) is out of town a lot for work.
James started this new thing that we do now, which I find really cool. We walk through a store & I pick out a bunch of stuff that I like & he walks around & picks out a bunch of stuff that he likes or thinks would look good on me as well. We go in the dressing room & I then have to try everything on, without looking at the price tag! Then whatever we decide that we like, he goes & pays for. This is absolutely awesome for me, because I love to shop, but hate spending money! I seriously can talk myself out of something I really need, just because I think I might could find something cheaper. He knows that about me & this way I have no guilt whatsoever, have the clothes I need & he never complains about how much it cost because not only was he involved in the picking out process, he was the one that bought it all...It's a-ma-zing!!! I will post pics of all my new goodies later!

We had our Monthly Church Community Connection last night at the park & it was so much fun! We grilled & had a great time. Afterwards Atm & Scout came over & the boys played the wii, while Atm & I picked out hairstyles, cause she was going to get her hair done today!
We had a pretty awesome weekend. I love my life!

Bible Verse Of The Day!
However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
Eph. 5:33

Pippy's Perspective: We should respect our husbands, not for what they do for us, but because of what they are to us. They are the head & we are the body. God didn't call us to be equal parts, he told us to be one with each other. We should try to be the best example of Christ & the Chruch that we can be!
